
Port Said University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, concluded the activities of the University Leadership Preparation Program organized by the Faculty Development Center, with the participation of faculty members and academic leaders from various university faculties.
The program aimed to enhance leadership and administrative competencies while promoting strategic planning, governance, and institutional development in line with the university’s vision for sustainable academic progress.
During the closing session, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reviewed the most notable achievements accomplished under the university’s strategic plan since assuming office. He highlighted the comprehensive development of Port Said University Hospital, including major upgrades in infrastructure, medical equipment, and healthcare services.
He also emphasized the university’s remarkable progress in digital transformation through the launch of the Smart University Cities Platform, the University Graduates Platform in May 2025, and the e-learning platform, in addition to strengthening digital infrastructure and cybersecurity systems.
The University President further noted the institution’s advancement in international rankings and global academic cooperation through the signing of nearly 19 international agreements and partnerships. He also praised the continuous support provided to international students through smart services, hotel-style accommodation, and electronic ID systems.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that the university’s achievements are the result of teamwork, institutional planning, and dedication, stating:
“Through the efforts of all university members, we succeeded in accomplishing years of work within only twenty months, and we will continue working together to build a modern university capable of competing regionally and internationally.”
