
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the 2026 Annual Dinner of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, held at the residence of the Swiss Ambassador in Cairo, Dr. Andreas Baum, in the presence of Mr Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, alongside senior officials, business leaders, and representatives of major economic and investment institutions.
The participation reflects Port Said University’s growing international presence and its commitment to strengthening cooperation with global academic and economic institutions, while supporting the integration of education and scientific research with sustainable development goals and labor market needs.
The event featured the honoring of several distinguished figures, in addition to speeches delivered by CEOs of leading Swiss companies operating in Egypt, highlighting prospects for investment, economic cooperation, and sustainable development.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation for participating in the event, emphasizing that Port Said University firmly believes in the importance of international engagement and strategic global partnerships as key pillars for achieving academic and research excellence and supporting Egypt’s national development vision.
He also praised the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Egypt for its vital role in fostering economic and investment cooperation between Egypt and Switzerland.
