Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, expressed his sincere appreciation to the representatives of Port Said Governorate for their continued support of the university during the Education Committee meeting at the House of Representatives, held to discuss the university’s draft education budget for the 2026/2027 fiscal year.
He praised their significant role in supporting the operation of Port Said University Hospital and advancing the university hospital project, emphasizing the importance of this cooperation in enhancing healthcare and medical education services for the people of Port Said.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh specifically commended the efforts of Representative Ahmed Farghali, Representative Dr. Marwa Halawa, and Representative Dr. Amal Asfour for their active participation and effective support during the budget discussions.
The university president also headed the university delegation attending the meeting, which included Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Hanafy, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine; Ms. Samia El-Mosailhy, Secretary General of the University; and Ms. Nahla Ibrahim, Director General of Budget and Accounts. The delegation discussed the university’s budget allocations, including field operation expenditures and Chapter Six allocations for the 2026/2027 fiscal year.
