
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, inaugurated the “Scientific Visitor: Arab Minds Abroad” program, organized in cooperation with ALECSO and the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture, as part of the university’s strategy to strengthen international cooperation and academic exchange.
The program welcomed a distinguished group of Arab scholars and experts, including Prof. Akhleif Tarawneh, former President of the University of Jordan; Prof. Sawsan Krishan, Director General of the Al-Khwarizmi Computing Center at the University of Tunis; Prof. Hussein Al-Mahdi, Prof. of Biophysics at the University of Sharjah; and Prof. Nibal Idlbi, Senior Advisor in Digital Transformation Policies.
During the visit, the delegation toured the university’s academic and research facilities and praised its advanced infrastructure and educational environment.
The program featured three specialized scientific sessions for faculty members, covering educational assessment, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, and international standards for scientific publishing. The sessions witnessed strong engagement from participants and provided valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and professional development.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that Port Said University remains committed to serving as a hub for Arab scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange, reinforcing its regional and international academic standing through meaningful partnerships and investment in human capital, science, and innovation.
