
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, continued his field visits by meeting with students and faculty leaders from the health sector faculties at the main hall of Port Said University Hospital. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Physical Therapy.
The deans of the four faculties affirmed their commitment to promoting a culture of energy conservation within their colleges. Measures include maximizing the use of natural lighting, reducing electricity consumption, and limiting vehicle movement on campus. They also emphasized their role in transferring this awareness to students.
The University President praised these efforts, stressing that energy conservation is a national responsibility, and highlighting that the university has become a model in this field, in line with the directives of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and the Supreme Council of Universities, headed by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansouh.
During an open dialogue with students, he encouraged them to act as ambassadors of awareness within their communities. He also underscored the importance of academic excellence, ethical commitment in medical professions, continuous learning, and acquiring practical skills, along with pursuing specialized programs after graduation.
