Port Said University has launched a comprehensive marketing plan for its distinguished undergraduate and postgraduate programs, aiming to strengthen its academic competitiveness and attract more Egyptian and international students, in line with its vision of becoming a leading regional and global university.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, chaired an expanded meeting attended by Prof. Dr. Amal Khalil, Supervisor of Education and Student Affairs, alongside faculty deans, the university secretary, and coordinators of distinguished programs, international relations, and university rankings.

The meeting discussed professional marketing mechanisms for academic programs in alignment with Egypt’s strategy toward the internationalization of higher education and enhancing the global presence of Egyptian universities.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that distinguished programs have become a strategic investment and a key competitive advantage for universities, noting that Port Said University possesses advanced academic and research capabilities, modern infrastructure, and a strategic geographic location that position it as a promising educational destination for both local and international students.

He also stressed the importance of developing professional profiles for each program, highlighting study nature, learning outcomes, career opportunities, practical training, research prospects, and admission requirements, while maximizing the use of digital platforms, social media, and international partnerships.

The university president further affirmed that increasing the number of international students represents a strategic pillar in strengthening the university’s global standing, improving its international rankings, and enriching cultural and academic diversity on campus.

The meeting also reviewed several proposals, including launching unified promotional campaigns for distinguished programs, enhancing Arabic and English marketing content, organizing outreach events and interactive meetings, and strengthening alignment between academic programs and labor market needs.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh concluded by reaffirming Port Said University’s commitment to building a modern university model founded on academic excellence, institutional governance, international openness, and global competitiveness.
