A new Milestone for Port Said University on the International Stage

In the presence of Mr. Nikolaos Garilidis, Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic to Cairo, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the University of Patras, one of Greece’s largest and most prestigious public universities.

The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation in scientific research, development, and training through joint research programs, academic exchange opportunities for faculty members and students, and the development of joint academic programs between the two universities.

Founded in 1964, the University of Patras is the third largest public university in Greece and is internationally recognized for its academic excellence and leadership in various scientific and research fields.

Prof. Dr Sherif Saleh emphasized that this partnership reflects Port Said University’s strategy to expand its international collaborations and enhance its regional and global competitiveness.

Ambassador Nikolaos Garilidis praised the remarkable progress of Port Said University and expressed the Greek universities’ aspiration to deepen academic and scientific cooperation in the coming period.
