
As part of the preparations for the new academic year, Prof. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, held an extensive meeting with Prof. Atef Alam El-Din, President of East Port Said National University, in the presence of the University’s Academic Program Directors, to review the final preparations for the upcoming academic year and strengthen academic and administrative cooperation between the two institutions.
Prof. Sherif Saleh emphasized that Port Said University regards East Port Said National University as a strategic partner in advancing Egypt’s higher education system. He affirmed that the University is placing its full academic and administrative expertise and resources at the service of the National University to support educational excellence, enhance institutional performance, and provide an integrated learning environment that meets the evolving demands of the labor market. He stressed that students will remain at the heart of all development efforts and will be the greatest beneficiaries of this institutional integration.
The President of Port Said University added that the partnership between the two universities represents a successful model of institutional collaboration, reflecting Egypt’s vision of maximizing shared expertise and resources to deliver high-quality education and prepare graduates equipped to compete in an increasingly dynamic global environment.
For his part, Prof. Atef Alam El-Din, President of East Port Said National University, expressed his appreciation for the continuous support provided by Port Said University under the leadership of Prof. Sherif Saleh. He described this cooperation as a cornerstone for the University’s growth and its mission to provide high-quality, innovative higher education. He also highlighted the importance of teamwork in ensuring a successful start to the new academic year.
The meeting concluded with both sides reaffirming their commitment to expanding cooperation between the two universities, further strengthening the quality of higher education, fostering academic excellence, and preparing graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to support sustainable development and contribute to Egypt’s future.
