Port Said University Launches “University Geniuses” Competition

Under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, the Cultural and Artistic Activities Department organized the first edition of the “University Geniuses” competition at the General Administration for Student Welfare.

The competition brought together outstanding students from various faculties in a series of intellectually challenging contests designed to test quick thinking, knowledge, and analytical skills. The event was marked by enthusiasm, teamwork, and a spirit of fair competition.

At the conclusion of the first round, the teams representing the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Engineering secured their places in the final stage of the competition after delivering impressive performances.

The competition was judged by Mohamed Shaaban, Coordinator of Student Activities at the Faculty of Arts, while Sarah Galal, Marwa Sha’noun, Islam Taha Hussein, and Mohamed Awad oversaw the organization and implementation of the event.

The initiative reflects Port Said University’s commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and academic excellence, while providing opportunities to identify and support talented students across diverse scientific and cultural fields.
