Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, congratulated this year’s high school graduates, wishing them every success as they embark on their academic journey and encouraging them to choose fields of study that match their talents, interests, and career aspirations.
As part of the University’s commitment to supporting students in making informed academic decisions, Prof. Dr Sherif Saleh announced the launch of Port Said University’s first free Academic Advising Program, held under the theme:
“Choose Your Future, Not Just Your Faculty.”
Organised by the University Center for Career Development (UCDC), the programme is open to high school graduates from Port Said and neighbouring governorates. Participants will complete a Personal Interests Assessment, attend interactive sessions introducing the University’s faculties and academic programmes, and have the opportunity to meet with specialists who will answer questions from both students and parents, helping them make confident and well-informed choices about their university future.
The programme will be held at 10:00 a.m. according to the following schedule:
– Monday, 3 August: Arts Division
– Wednesday, 5 August: Science Division
– Thursday, 6 August: Mathematics Division
Interested students are invited to register through the following link:
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasised that this initiative reflects Port Said University’s strategy to strengthen academic guidance and align higher education with labour market needs, empowering students to make informed decisions and preparing graduates who are well equipped to compete in both local and international job markets.
