
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, continued his distinguished international engagement for the second consecutive day during his participation in the Business and International Cooperation Advisory Council meeting held in El Alamein. The event was organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, under the leadership of Professor Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, with the participation of ambassadors, diplomats, and prominent business and industry leaders from around the world.
The meetings featured strategic discussions and interactive dialogues between the President of Port Said University and leading figures from the business and industrial sectors, focusing on the future of higher education and mechanisms for aligning academic outcomes with the evolving needs of the labor market and global transformations.
These discussions came following the signing of a tripartite agreement and strategic partnerships between Port Said University, the Arab Academy, and several major economic and industrial institutions. The event brought together distinguished leaders including Eng. Ahmed Tarek, Chairman of Edge Education and Bwell Healthcare; Mr. Mohamed El-Damaty, Board Member of Al Ahly SC and Vice Chairman of Domty; Eng. Ehab Gawhar, Chairman of Animation Advertising and Co-founder of Media Hub; Eng. Ahmed Mansour, CEO of Cred Developments; and Ms. Hala Khaled El-Kassem, Chairperson of Karina Group, alongside international experts and officials.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that Port Said University is committed to preparing a generation equipped with knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills capable of competing regionally and internationally. He emphasized that these strategic partnerships represent a significant step toward building an advanced educational ecosystem that strengthens the connection between academia, industry, and the labor market, reinforcing the university’s growing regional and international standing in support of Egypt’s sustainable development vision.
