Seminar: “How Can Technology Advance Without Violating Human Values”

Under the auspice of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, General Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector, the Social Solidarity Unit at Port Said University organized a seminar entitled “Ethical Challenges Related to Artificial Intelligence” as part of the “Our Values” initiative. The seminar was held at the Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems.

The seminar was held under the academic supervision of:

Prof. Dr. Ayman Mohamed Mohasseb – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs

The event was coordinated by the Social Activity Department, led by:

 Ms. Azza Othman – General Administration for Youth Welfare

The seminar was presented by Dr. Lamia El-Menshawy, a lecturer in the Information Technology Systems Management Department, addressed key ethical issues related to artificial intelligence, such as data privacy, transparency, and social responsibility. She emphasized the need to develop technology that respects human values ​​and supports the safe and equitable use of AI.
