The supreme council of universities held its periodical meeting on Saturday, October 22, 2022. The meeting was held under the presidential of Dr Prof. Ayman Ashour, minister of higher education and research, and was attended by Dr Prof. Mohamad Latif, chairman for the supreme council of universities, and presidents of the universities. The council commenced with congratulations to Dr Prof. el- Sayed Qandil on the occasion of his appointing as the President of Helwan University and Dr Salama Daood as the President of Azhar University, wishing for them all the success and progress. The board agreed on the request submitted by the ministry of planning and economic development concerning enlarging the applying of the internal rewarding system as by launching the second phase of ten governmental universities.
