Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, directed the organization of Ramadan Iftar and a series of cultural and recreational tours for international students and those excelling in student activities, aiming to enhance cultural integration and strengthen civic awareness, in coordination with the General Administration for Student Welfare.
The events were held under the auspices of the University President and supervised by Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Head of the Student Welfare Sector, as part of the university’s strategy to provide a unique educational and social experience while supporting outstanding students.
The Iftar program included a city tour of Port Said and a visit to Ferial Garden, where students learned about its historical significance linked to the opening of Suez Canal. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi emphasized that these initiatives are part of an ongoing series of activities to honor outstanding students, support international students, and foster a welcoming and inclusive university environment. Participating students expressed their happiness and appreciation for the excellent organization, extending their thanks to the University President and the supervising team.
