QS Summit and the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the QS Summit: Middle East 2025, hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Kuwait, and the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities in Kuwait. This participation comes as part of Port Said University’s efforts to improve its position in global rankings and confirms Port Said University’s commitment to cooperation and partnership with Arab and international universities.

Also, the Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh highlighted the importance of Port Said University’s participation in such international scientific forums as the QS Summit: Middle East 2025, the world’s leading provider of services, analysis, and rankings in the higher education sector, and hosted by the Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) in Kuwait. The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, representatives of the ministries of higher education in Arab countries, the President and representatives of QS International, and a number of university presidents. The Egyptian and Arab universities, Dr. Gina El-Feki, Acting President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and General Supervisor of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, and Engineer Maged El-Sadek, Acting President of the National Network for Scientific and Technological Information and Secretary General of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, were also present, along with a group of international experts concerned with developing the higher education system. Meanwhile, Prof. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, participated in the 57th General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, which was held at the International University for Science and Technology in Kuwait on April 23 and 24, under the theme: “Arab Higher Education in Light of Digital Transformation and Enhancing Regional Integration.”
