Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim met with Mr Raafat Abdul Naiem, president of channel 4, and discussed the means of potential cooperation between the university and the channel. After that, Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, president of the university, was a guest on Al- Qanal Alyom program. Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim discussed with the interviewer Ms Sahar Khalid the various aspects of progress witnessed in the different sectors of the university and his ambitious plans for the university future.
During the interview, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, stated the achievements of the university regarding the second phase of the university hospital and the establishment of buildings for faculties of law, commerce, and early childhood education.
Moreover, the President of the University stated the role played by the university during the COVID -19 epidemic and that the University, in collaboration with Port Said Governorate, hosted the Egyptians returned from the UAE. During the interview, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim spotted the light on the COVID – 19 Test Unit at faculty of special education.
In addition, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim asserted the keenness on the university to encourage its members to cope up with the scientific progress. On this regard, the university honors Dr Manal Shalaby on winning the State Incentive Award in geography, Dr Heba Yusuf on obtaining the membership of the Committee for the Development of Scientific Culture and Innovative Thinking of the Supreme Council of Universities, and the faculty of engineering team on obtaining the first place in the innovation competition for graduation projects 2019, which was organized by the Technology Innovation Center of the Ministry of Communications.
At the end of the interview, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, affirmed that the university is always on communication and collaboration with Port Said Governorate to serve the community in all fields.
