Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, joined people of Port Said in performing Eid al-Fitr prayer at the Abbasi Masjed in Port Said, in the presence of Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Port Said, and Major General Mohamed El-Gamsy, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of Security.
The gathering also included prominent leaders and officials: MP Adel El-Lamai, MP Hassan Ammar, Senator Mohamed Salama, Senator Ahmed Gawhar, and Brigadier General Moataz Abu Samra, Military Advisor to the Governor, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Al-Azhar scholars.
The prayer was marked by a joyful and spiritual atmosphere, as large crowds gathered early, filling the space with Eid Takbeerat and a strong sense of unity. The sermon highlighted key values of preserving the nation, strengthening family ties, and promoting tolerance and social solidarity.
On this blessed occasion, the University President extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of Port Said and all Egyptians, wishing the country continued security, stability, and prosperity.
