Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, president of the universities, participated in the meeting of the Supreme Council of Universities, held at Cairo University. The Supreme Council of Universities convened on Saturday, September 9, 2020, Session No 705 under the presidential of Dr Prof. Khalid Abdul Ghafar, minister of higher education and scientific research. The council convened in the attendance of Dr Tariq Shawqi, minister of education, Dr Mohamed Latif, chairman of the council, and the presence of a number of the presidents of the universities. In the opening of its session, the members of the council expressed their gratitude for the President of the Republic Abdul Fattah Al- Sisi in the occasion of opening the new avenue for the Japanese – Egyptian University for Science and Technology, in addition to other national projects in the field of education and scientific research, and his continuous support for education and scientific research.
