PSU Nomination for Newton Prize

Under the presidential of Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, Port Said University is nominated for the first time for the Newton Prize with the project (A New Water Desalination Plant Run by Clean Energy). Notably to say, the researchers in the university participated their research among other five British-Egyptian projects. The 2020 Newton Prize committee is under the presidential of Prof. Alice Gast, president of Imperial College, London, and involves a number of featured professors in different fields.  This prize is a fund to support excellent research and innovations in which the fund has invested since its launch in 2014. On this occasion, Dr Prof. Ayman Ibrahim, president of the university, expresses his happiness for the participation of the university with this significant research and praised the efforts of Dr Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, professor at the faculty of engineering, Dr Yaser el- Henawy, professor at the faculty of engineering, and Dr Mohamed Hamam, professor at the faculty of engineering, wishing for them all the success, progress and prosperity.
