Port Said University Council held its regular meeting this morning, Tuesday 29/11/2022 (Session No. 177), headed by Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the University. The President of the University welcomed the attendance of Sir Major General Adel al- Ghadban, governor of Port Said and both praised the efforts exerted by the university in all fields. The President of the University congratulated the members of the University Council on the issuance of the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education to open the Faculty of Physiotherapy in Port Said and to start studying there, starting from the second semester of the current academic year 2022/2023. The President of the University extended his sincere congratulations to Prof. Wael Salah Shendi for assuming the position of Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy in Port Said, and praised his efforts in the administrative and organizational preparations to receive students starting from the second semester of the current academic year. Then, the Council agreed to grant master degrees for 17 researchers and the PhD for 7 researchers. Subsequently, the Council moved on to discuss the agenda presented to the Council.
