Port Said University Council held its regular meeting this morning, Monday 31/10/2022 (Session No. 176), headed by Dr Prof. Ayman Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the University. The President of the University welcomed the attendance of Sir Major General Adel al- Ghadban, governor of Port Said, and both praised the efforts exerted by the university in the field of scientific research under guidance of Dr Prof. Rawia Rizq, vice-president for postgraduate studies and scientific research. The council board congratulated Dr Prof. Hassan Mohamed Hassan, on his assignment as the vice-president for community services and environmental affairs, Dr Prof. Amany el- Desouqy, on her appointment as the dean of the faculty of kindergarten, Dr Prof. Mohamed Kamel, on his appointment as the dean of the faculty of science, and Dr Prof. Taha Farag, as the dean of the faculty of engineering. Then, the Council agreed to grant master degrees for 18 researchers and the PhD for 6 researchers. Subsequently, the Council moved on to discuss the agenda presented to the Council.
