Port Said University Organizes Seminar on E-Marketing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence

Port Said University organized a scientific seminar titled “E-Marketing in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”, as part of its ongoing strategy to keep pace with rapid technological advancement and digital transformation, and to prepare students for the evolving job market.

The seminar was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector. It was moderated by Prof. Dr. Ayman Mohasseb, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management Technology and Information Systems, and took place on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at the Student Activities Hall within the General Administration for Student Welfare.

The session highlighted the growing importance of e-marketing as one of the most in-demand fields for university students, particularly as more than 60% of small and medium-sized enterprises now rely on social media platforms to reach their customers. It also emphasized key professional skills required in the field, including managing advertising campaigns, content creation, graphic design using artificial intelligence tools, and data analysis.

The seminar featured active student engagement and interactive discussions on how to develop the necessary skills to enter the field and build a successful career path. Students from the Faculties of Commerce, Arts, Nursing, Science, and Law took part in the event.

The program was organized by the Department of Scientific and Technological Activity, led by Mr. Mohamed Al-Khamisi, Director of the Department, and Ms. Shaimaa Omar, Student Welfare Specialist, with the participation of Mr. Ibrahim Murtada Al-Nims, Director of the Social Activity Department.
