Port Said University has launched a distinguished visual and architectural landmark, Port Said University Mural, under the guidance and support of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and through Engaz Arch, the university’s development company. The project reflects the city’s identity and history while expressing the university’s forward-looking vision.

The project consists of three main murals, forming a unified visual narrative:
▪ Mural I – Our People Are Our Brand
Celebrates Port Said’s history by honoring influential figures in resistance, politics, culture, art, sports, and economics, alongside a chronological record of the governors of Port Said.
▪ Mural II
Documents the Ministers of Higher Education and Presidents of Port Said University appointed by presidential decrees, preserving the institution’s leadership history.
▪ Mural III – Our Academic Journey
Presents a timeline of the establishment of the university’s faculties and concludes with international partnerships displayed on a world map, highlighting the university’s global academic presence.
This project builds on Engaz Arch’s role in developing the Visual Identity Guide for Port Said, which aims to unify the city’s visual character, showcase its heritage, enhance the urban landscape, support tourism and investment, and improve quality of life.
This vision is reflected through:
• Landscape development for the Faculties of Engineering and Commerce inspired by Port Said’s architectural heritage
• The creation of the Innovation Arch to showcase student projects and applied research
• A service and investment hub, along with sports and recreational spaces
