
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, inaugurated the specialized training course for preparing academic leaders, organized by the Faculty Development Center under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mona Hammouda, with the participation of deans, vice deans, and faculty members from various university sectors.
During the opening session, the University President emphasized that the university’s recent achievements and progress toward its strategic plan objectives were accomplished through the collective efforts and teamwork of all university members. He highlighted the university’s advancement in quality assurance and academic accreditation, the development of educational programs aligned with labor market needs, and the enhancement of digital transformation and modern technology applications in education, scientific research, and university administration.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh also stressed the university’s commitment to investing in human capital and expanding international partnerships with universities and global research institutions, affirming that preparing academic leaders is a strategic investment in building future-ready cadres capable of decision-making and achieving sustainable development.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Amal Khalil reviewed the university’s vision for the education and student sector, emphasizing that students remain at the heart of the educational process. The university’s legal advisor also highlighted the importance of legal awareness and adherence to regulations in building successful academic leadership.
For her part, Prof. Dr. Mona Hammouda affirmed that the training programs organized by the Faculty Development Center represent a key pillar in achieving institutional excellence and advancing the university’s higher education system.
