
Port Said University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, hosted a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Higher Institute of Social Work in Port Said, chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Hussein, to celebrate the Institute’s remarkable achievement of obtaining both institutional and program accreditation from the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE). With this accomplishment, the Institute has become the first Higher Institute of Social Work in the Arab Republic of Egypt to earn both accreditations.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Abdel Aziz Hussein expressed his sincere appreciation to Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, emphasizing that his continuous support, along with his academic and administrative expertise, played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone. He described the University President as a key partner throughout the accreditation journey.
Members of the Board of Directors also praised Port Said University for its outstanding progress and achievements at the local, regional, and international levels, noting that the University has become a model of institutional development and successful academic collaboration.
The meeting concluded with the exchange of commemorative shields, while the Institute’s Board of Directors presented Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh with a shield of honor in recognition of his support and valuable contributions to the Institute’s development and accreditation success.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh affirmed that the success of any educational institution in Port Said Governorate is a valuable contribution to Egypt’s higher education system. He reiterated Port Said University’s commitment to supporting distinguished educational institutions and strengthening cooperation to advance quality, accreditation, and academic excellence, while congratulating the Higher Institute of Social Work on this exceptional achievement.
