At the Faculty of Specific Education, and under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and the supervision and follow-up of Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Affairs Sector and Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family at the University, and in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed El-Rouby, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, and Prof. Dr. Mona Zeitoun, Coordinator of the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty of Specific Education, the Social Activities Department of the General Administration of Student Welfare at Port Said University, in cooperation with the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty, organized an educational symposium on the occasion of the 52nd anniversary of the glorious October Victories of 1973. The symposium featured Major General Hassan Qandil, one of the heroes of the October War, who delivered a lecture entitled “The October War… An Epic of Pride and Dignity.”
