Prof. Dr Sherif Youssef Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the opening of the General Assembly of the Partnership between Academies Authority 2025 and the International Research Outputs Marketing Exhibition (IRC EXPO 2025), held in Egypt from December 8 to 11, 2025. The event was organized under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, and attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Ayman Ashour.
The opening witnessed high-level participation from Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din, Dr. Amr Talaat, Dr. Mahmoud Esmat, Dr. Mohamed Gabran, and Engineer Mohamed Sheimy, alongside senior academic, scientific, and media figures.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh also attended the announcement of the results of the presidential initiative “Alliance and Development”, as well as the signing of agreements by the winning alliances, during the tripartite conference organized by the Ministry in the New Administrative Capital.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh emphasized that the initiative represents a pioneering model for linking scientific research with economic and social development, while promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. He highlighted the role of Port Said University’s regional alliance in advancing the National Strategy for Higher Education and Scientific Research 2030, and in transforming research outputs into industrial applications that support the national economy.
In conclusion, the university president expressed his appreciation to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his continuous support of the initiative, and to Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Dr. Ayman Ashour for their efforts in strengthening the status of higher education and scientific research and reinforcing their developmental role within the framework of the New Republic’s vision.
