Prof.Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, attended the inauguration of Al-Nasr Floating Bridge (2) in the presence of Lieutenant General Osama Rabie, Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Port Said, and a number of executive and security leaders.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that the opening of Al-Nasr Floating Bridge (2) marks a new milestone in Egypt’s ongoing development journey under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. He noted that the project will enhance connectivity between the two banks of the Suez Canal, facilitate citizens’ movement, and support economic and social development across the Canal region.
The President of Port Said University also praised the vital role played by the Suez Canal Authority in advancing national development plans, stressing that major infrastructure projects, including modern bridges and tunnels, reflect Egypt’s vision for sustainable development and investment growth. He extended his congratulations to the people of Port Said and the Canal region on this significant national achievement.
