Guidance in the light of Islamic Thought

Prof. Dr Rawya Rizk, Acting President of Port Said University, attended the symposium “Psychological and Social Guidance and Counseling, in Light of Islamic Thought,” in the presence of Sheikh Gamal Awad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Port Said, Prof. Dr Badr Abdel Aziz Badr, Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Port Said, and the deputies, faculty members, and students of the faculty.

Prof. Dr Rawya thanked and greeted the attendees, the Ministry of Endowments, and Al-Azhar sector in Port Said for their continuous and fruitful cooperation in providing continuous enlightenment in all sectors, especially the higher education sector and Port Said University in particular.

Sheikh Gamal Awad, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments in Port Said, stressed that awareness, advice and guidance are not the only way to adhere to moderate ideas, but research, reading and the decent dialogue are the most important means, as the Islamic religion is a religion of contemplation and reason and a religion of moderation that spreads mercy, goodness and knowledge.
