Port Said University, in cooperation with the Popular and Military Defense Forces, organized a student visit to the EDEX 2025 Defense and Military Industries Exhibition. The visit aimed to strengthen national pride and introduce students to the latest advancements in military technologies.
The event was held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and supervised by Colonel Abram Babawy, Director of Military Education at the university.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that such activities play a vital role in developing well-rounded students and enhancing their sense of national pride. For his part, Colonel Abram Babawy stated that the visit offered students a valuable opportunity to observe the significant progress achieved in Egyptian defense industries.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of Student Welfare, affirmed the university’s commitment to instilling values of loyalty and belonging in its students. He added that the participation of Port Said University students in EDEX represents a national mission aimed at preparing an aware and proud generation capable of contributing to the nation’s progress.
