Meetings of the Councils of the Faculties of Education and Engineering

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, chaired the meetings of the Councils of the Faculties of Education and Engineering to review achievements and discuss future development plans.

At the Faculty of Education, he was received by Prof. Dr. Rehab Abdel Aziz, Dean of the Faculty, and Prof. Dr. Sherine Desouky, Advisor to the University President for the Educational Sector, along with a number of faculty members who expressed their appreciation for his continuous engagement and close follow-up on academic, research, and community activities.

At the Faculty of Engineering, he was welcomed by Prof. Dr. Taha Farag, Dean of the Faculty, and members of the Council, who praised the University’s leadership for its efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance.

During both meetings, the University President emphasized the importance of teamwork and sectoral integration, the need to support teaching assistants and researchers through continuous training and the cultivation of core university values, the development of English language skills for all university members, and the promotion of graduation projects as a platform for creativity and innovation. He also stressed the significance of international publication, increasing research citations, and fostering academic partnerships with global universities.

At the conclusion of the two meetings, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation to the administrations of both faculties for their dedication and progress, affirming that Port Said University has begun to reap the fruits of a year of hard work and reform. He added that the University will confidently continue its journey toward becoming a modern, pioneering institution in education, scientific research, and community service, as: “We are all partners in success.”
