Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Saleh, President of Port Said University, received a delegation from the Coptic Church on Thursday, March 27, 2025, headed by Father Paula Saad, Vicar of the Coptic Orthodox Bishopric of Port Said, on behalf of His Grace Bishop Tadros of Port Said and its Dependencies. The delegation extended congratulations to the university family on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. The Coptic Church delegation, headed by Father Paula Saad, Vicar of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of Port Said, included Father Beymen Saber, Public Relations Officer of the Port Said Archdiocese; Father Jeremiah Fahmy, Media Spokesperson of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of Port Said; Father Youannis Kamel, Pastor of St. Mark’s Church in Port Fouad; Father Younan Samir A. William Fouad, Public Relations Officer of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of Port Said; and Dr. Magdy Helmy, Public Relations Officer of the Coptic Orthodox Archdiocese of Port Said. The delegation was accompanied by Coptic women, including Dr. Jihan Amirhom and Dr. Josephine Fawzy. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh expressed his appreciation for this kind visit, which reflects the spirit of friendship and brotherhood among Egyptians and emphasized that these religious occasions and holidays are an opportunity to highlight the bonds of love that unite the Egyptian people.
