Port Said University was honored among a number of Egyptian and Arab universities for inclusion in the first Arab ranking of universities ARU Ranking for the year 2023 in its first edition to open the activities of the 14th session of the International Forum and Exhibition for Higher Education and Training EduGate. The honor was delivered by Prof. Dr Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Ambassador Haifa Abu Ghazaleh, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Prof. Dr Muhammad Mustafa Kamal, representative of the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization, ALECSO, Prof. Dr Abdel Majeed bin Amara, Secretary-General of the Union of Scientific Research Councils, Prof. Dr Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Universities, and Prof. Dr Ali Shams El-Din President of the International Forum for Higher Education and Training. Prof. Dr. Rawia Rizk, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received the university’s certificate of honor during the ceremony, which was attended by a group of higher education leaders and presidents of Egyptian and Arab universities and their deputies. Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, President of Port Said University, expressed his contentment with this honor and the achievements achieved by the university in various rankings.
