In order to activate the cooperation protocol between the University of Port Said, headed by Prof. Dr Ayman Ibrahim, and the Academy of Arts, the Faculty of Specific Education, led by Prof. Dr Ahmed Al-Roubi, Dean of the Faculty of Specific Education, is hosting a workshop, “A Contemporary Concept of the Principles of Musical Composition and Arrangement,” coordinated by Dr Heba Al-Moji, teacher in the Department of Music Education Department. The workshop took part within the period from Sunday, February 25 to Tuesday, February 27. Lecture was given by Maestro Sherif Mohi El-Din, Prof. of Music Sciences at the Higher Institute of Music (Conservatory) at the Academy of Arts in Cairo, Dean of the Alexandria Conservatory, and conductor of the orchestra at the Cairo Opera House. The workshop was attended by the Head of the Music Education Department, faculty members, their assistants, and the department’s students.
