
Port Said University continues to empower its students with future-ready technological skills through a specialized training workshop entitled “Fundamentals of Embedded Systems and Their Applications Using Arduino,” organized by the Scientific and Technological Activities Department in cooperation with the Information Systems and Technology Center on May 6 and 10, 2026.
Held under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and Assistant Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, the workshop witnessed remarkable student engagement and interactive practical training sessions.
The workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of electronics, electrical circuits, and microcontroller programming using the Arduino IDE, combining theoretical knowledge with hands-on applications to enhance skills in artificial intelligence and smart systems.
The sessions were delivered by Engineer Rahma and Engineer Rawan Abu Warda, with the support of Assistant Professor Dr. Islam Shaalan and Assistant Professor Dr. Amr Al-Atrash.
The event reflects Port Said University’s ongoing commitment to fostering innovation, creativity, and human capacity building under the supervision of the Scientific and Technological Activities Department, led by Prof. Mohamed El-Khamisi and Prof. Shaimaa Omar.
