The first edition of the results of the Arab Classification of Universities 2023, affiliated with the Association of Arab Universities, was announced and stemmed from the combined efforts of the Association of Arab Universities in cooperation with the League of Arab States, the Arab Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO), and the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils.
Port Said University was included in the 15th ranking among Egyptian universities and 34th among the Arab universities among those included in this classification. The number of universities that submitted for classification reached 208 universities, of which 115 universities were included in the classification, representing 16 countries out of a total of 22 countries from the countries of the League of Arab States.
