
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, participated in the activities of the Business and International Cooperation Advisory Council held in El Alamein City and organized by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, headed by Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag. The event brought together ambassadors, consuls, members of the diplomatic corps, and prominent business and industry leaders from various countries.
During the event, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh signed a tripartite agreement and strategic partnerships in cooperation with the Arab Academy and several leading economic and industrial institutions. The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished business leaders and industry pioneers, including Engineer Ahmed Tarek, Chairman of Edge Education and Well Healthcare; Mr. Mohamed El-Damaty, Board Member of Al Ahly Sporting Club and Vice Chairman of Domty; Engineer Ehab Gawhar, Chairman of Animation Advertising and Co-founder of Media Hub; Engineer Ahmed Mansour, CEO of Cred Developments; and Ms. Hala Khaled El-Kassem, Chairperson of Karina Group.
The agreement aims to promote entrepreneurship, support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and develop academic programs and curricula in line with the evolving needs of the labor market and major economic and industrial sectors. It also seeks to strengthen academic and research collaboration in support of sustainable development goals.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that these partnerships mark an important strategic step toward strengthening Port Said University’s regional and international presence, while opening new horizons for cooperation between academia, industry, and international institutions. He added that such collaborations contribute to preparing graduates who are equipped to compete successfully in the global job market.
