Administrative Restructuring of Two Faculties at Port Said University

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, held an extensive meeting with the leadership of the Faculties of Specific Education and Early Childhood, in the presence of the deans, faculty secretaries, human resources officials, and the university’s restructuring committee. The meeting came as part of the university’s ongoing efforts to monitor and develop administrative work within its faculties.

The meeting is part of a series of meetings held by the university president with different faculties to determine career paths for administrative staff based on the actual needs of each faculty and to ensure the optimal utilization of human resources.

During the meeting, the current needs and surplus of administrative staff in the two faculties were reviewed. Emphasis was placed on addressing staffing needs first from within the university campus and on developing employees’ skills through training programs organized by the university’s training unit to enhance their efficiency in line with the nature of their duties.

Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh also stressed the importance of achieving a fair and balanced distribution of staff among faculties according to workload and student numbers. He highlighted the need to strengthen cooperation between the Faculties of Specific Education and Early Childhood, encourage the rotation of staff between departments to gain diverse experience, and activate the complaints and suggestions system to help improve the work environment.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Sherif Sherif Saleh reaffirmed Port Said University’s commitment to developing the administrative system as a key pillar of the university’s institutional framework, emphasizing that achieving job satisfaction for employees remains a primary goal, as it directly contributes to improving performance quality and the level of services provided within the university.
