Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, organized a grand ceremony to honor the winners of the University’s Appreciation, Encouragement, and Scientific Awards, in addition to recognizing various work teams for their outstanding contributions throughout 2025.
The ceremony was attended by deans and vice-deans of faculties, faculty members, and administrative staff. During the event, the University President honored a distinguished scholars in recognition of their notable contributions to scientific research and community service, in an atmosphere that reflected the strong sense of unity within the university community.
The ceremony also recognized individuals and teams who contributed to the implementation of several developmental and educational projects, which were inaugurated in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on the sidelines of Port Said University’s hosting of the Supreme Council of Universities meetings.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that these achievements are the result of the collective efforts of the university’s members, noting the positive recognition the university received during the Supreme Council of Universities’ activities, reflecting its advanced standing within Egyptian higher education. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to supporting science, scientific research, and investment in human capital, ensuring that Port Said University continues to serve as a distinguished and competitive model among Egyptian universities.
