Port Said University, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharda University, Greater Noida, India, to strengthen academic and research cooperation and create new opportunities for students, researchers, and faculty members.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh and Prof. Seebaram Khara, President of Sharda University, in the presence of representatives from Port Said University, the Egyptian Embassy in New Delhi, and Sharda University.
Key areas of cooperation include:
– Student, faculty, and researcher exchange
– Visiting professor programs and scientific visits
– Joint research projects and research teams
‘ Innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge and technology transfer
– Joint conferences, seminars, workshops, and training programs
The partnership covers a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, pharmacy, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, health sciences, basic and applied sciences, engineering, science and technology, IT and digital transformation, management, and humanities and social sciences.
Sharda University has 13 academic colleges and schools, more than 19,200 students from over 95 countries, 135+ academic programs, and 1,000+ faculty members. It also has more than 330 international MoUs and an alumni network of over 34,000 graduates worldwide.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that the partnership reflects Port Said University’s commitment to transforming international agreements into practical opportunities that directly benefit students, researchers, and faculty members, while strengthening research collaboration, innovation, technology transfer, and the University’s international competitiveness.
