Port Said University Reaps the Rewards of Its Strategic Partnership with Port Said Governorate

As part of its commitment to community engagement and institutional development, Port Said University celebrated the graduation of several groups of administrative staff from Port Said Governorate and its districts after successfully completing a specialized 6-month training program.

Implemented under the directives of Prof. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the University and Port Said Governorate, the program was organized by the University Center for Career Development, headed by Prof. Heba Youssef Suleiman, Director of the Center and Director of the University’s Training Unit.

The program comprised 120 training hours delivered over four integrated phases, covering professional leadership readiness, modern management, project management, and human resource management. Participants also developed applied workplace improvement projects designed to translate their newly acquired knowledge and skills into practical institutional impact.

Representing the University President at the graduation ceremony, Prof. Mohamed Kamel, Supervisor of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, presented certificates of completion to the trainees in the presence of Prof. Amal Khalil, Supervisor of the Education and Student Affairs Sector, and Ms. Samia El-Mosailhi, Secretary General of the University.

Prof. Sherif Saleh emphasized that the initiative is part of a broader cooperation protocol aimed at training 100 employees from the Governorate’s General Office, district administrations, Port Fouad City, and service directorates. He reaffirmed that Port Said University places its academic expertise and professional capabilities at the service of state institutions, stressing that the strategic partnership with Port Said Governorate remains a cornerstone of the University’s vision for sustainable development, institutional excellence, and public service.
