
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, chaired the Council of Deans meeting to review preparations for the 2026/2027 academic year. Discussions focused on tuition fees for undergraduate and postgraduate programs, as well as university housing fees, as part of the university’s early planning for the new academic year.
The University President reviewed the outcomes of his recent meetings with the coordinators of the three academic sectors, vice deans for education and student affairs, vice deans for postgraduate studies and research, and the university’s international rankings, international relations, and quality assurance teams. He noted that the university is already seeing the positive impact of its administrative restructuring and the modernization of its financial and administrative regulations.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh announced the launch of a comprehensive administrative program to transform Port Said University into a Smart University, driven by digital transformation, improved work environments, and more efficient educational and administrative services. He reaffirmed that students remain the university’s highest priority, with all development efforts focused on enhancing the quality of services and the overall student experience.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Rizk, Supervisor of the University Housing Sector, presented the latest developments in the university dormitories and outlined preparations to welcome new, returning, and international students with safe, modern, and well-equipped accommodation.
Concluding the meeting, the University President reaffirmed Port Said University’s commitment to advancing all sectors in line with Egypt’s vision for digital transformation and good governance, further strengthening the university’s position among leading higher education institutions at the national and regional levels.
