
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, welcomed Mr Suresh K. Reddy, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Arab Republic of Egypt, to discuss expanding academic and scientific cooperation between Port Said University and Indian universities, paving the way for strategic partnerships in higher education and research.The visit featured a tour of the university’s new administration building, followed by an expanded meeting attended by the deans of faculties, sector supervisors, and the International Relations and Rankings teams. During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reaffirmed that international collaboration is a strategic priority for the university, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships with leading Indian institutions to promote knowledge exchange, joint research, and the development of globally competitive graduates.The university presented its academic and research strengths through an English-language introductory film and a comprehensive presentation highlighting its distinguished academic programs, international ranking achievements, strategic location, and vision for internationalization. Discussions also explored opportunities to attract Indian students, expand student and faculty exchange programs, and launch joint research initiatives.Mr Suresh K. Reddy praised the university’s impressive academic and administrative development, noting that Port Said University possesses the educational, research, and institutional capabilities to become a strong partner for Indian universities. He also reaffirmed India’s commitment to advancing cooperation in higher education, scientific research, and innovation.The visit concluded with Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh presenting the Port Said University Shield to Mr Suresh K.
