Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, followed up on the progress of maintenance and preparation work at the building designated to house the Faculty of Computers and Information. He emphasized the necessity of adhering to the schedule and completing the finishing touches and equipment installations according to the highest quality standards.
The University President directed the swift completion of maintenance, furnishing, and equipping of classrooms, laboratories, and facilities to ensure the building’s readiness to receive students. He stressed the importance of daily monitoring and addressing any obstacles.
He affirmed that the establishment of the Faculty represents a valuable addition to the Port Said University system of faculties and supports the university’s drive towards digital transformation and academic excellence, preparing qualified professionals in the fields of computer science, artificial intelligence, and information technology to meet the needs of the job market.
The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel, Supervisor of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs; Prof. Dr. Taha Farag, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Saleh, Advisor to the University President for Institutional Development; and members of the committee formed to oversee the construction and equipping of the Faculty of Computers and Information building.
