In a major international milestone, Port Said University has advanced 200 places globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, climbing into the prestigious 601–800 band (up from the 801–1000 band). This achievement marks the university’s global excellence for the sixth consecutive year, competing among 1,603 universities worldwide.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, affirmed that this success reflects the university’s unwavering commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, and strengthening community engagement—all in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

Ranked 101–200 globally in Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy
