Port Said University Soars 200 Places Globally in THE Impact Rankings 2026

​In a major international milestone, Port Said University has advanced 200 places globally in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2026, climbing into the prestigious 601–800 band (up from the 801–1000 band). This achievement marks the university’s global excellence for the sixth consecutive year, competing among 1,603 universities worldwide.

​Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, affirmed that this success reflects the university’s unwavering commitment to supporting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), enhancing the quality of education and scientific research, and strengthening community engagement—all in alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

​Outstanding Global Achievements in SDGs:

The university secured distinguished rankings in 14 out of the 17 UN SDGs, highlighted by:

​Ranked 101–200 globally in Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

​Ranked 201–300 globally in Goal 4: Quality Education

​Ranked 301–400 globally in Goal 6: Clean Water and Sanitation
