
Students from Port Said University participated in the “Fatih 2026” Strategic Political Competition, organized by the Military Academy for Graduate and Strategic Studies, represented by the National Defense College, with the participation of students from Egyptian universities nationwide.
The competition aimed to develop students’ strategic thinking and analytical skills while enhancing their awareness of regional and international challenges.
The participation came under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, and under the supervision of Colonel Abram Babawy, Director of Military Education at the university.
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh emphasized that building national and intellectual awareness is a key pillar in preparing the youth of the New Republic, highlighting the important role universities play in shaping students academically, culturally, and nationally.
Colonel Abram Babawy noted that the university’s participation in “Fatih 2026” reflects its commitment to promoting political and national awareness among students and strengthening the values of national security and belonging. He also praised the outstanding performance of Port Said University students, who demonstrated a high level of awareness, culture, and objective analytical thinking throughout the competition.
