
Under the auspice and the presence of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, the university organized a distinguished student seminar titled “We Meet to Rise.” The event featured the preacher Mustafa Hosny and witnessed a massive turnout from university leadership, faculty members, administrative staff, and a diverse body of students, including students with disabilities.
The seminar was supervised by Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, organized by the “Students for Egypt” movement, and prepared by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Kamel and Prof. Dr. Sherine Desouky. The initiative aimed to foster meaningful dialogue and elevate the intellectual and cultural awareness of the students.
The seminar was held at the University Theater, the seminar delved into vital topics such as self-development, character building, and the promotion of positive values through a relatable and impactful approach. In his keynote address, “The Impact of Connection with Allah on Psychological Stability,” Mustafa Hosny shared inspiring insights on strengthening willpower, the importance of diligence, maintaining prayer, and the strategic value of time management.
President Sherif Saleh emphasized that hosting influential figures is central to the university’s vision of cultivating a conscious generation rooted in patriotism and core values. He also praised the “Students for Egypt” team for their exceptional organization.
The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students engaged with Hosny on topics ranging from religious commitment and tolerance to managing psychological stress. The seminar also celebrated student talent by honoring three winners of the recitation competition. As a final gesture of appreciation, the University Shield was presented to Mustafa Hosny for his valuable contribution to this enriching cultural dialogue.
