
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, inaugurated the 9th International Conference of the Faculty of Nursing under the theme:
“Re-engineering Healthcare: Cybersecurity – Artificial Intelligence – Sustainable Development.”
Held under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Major General Ibrahim Abu Limon, Governor of Port Said, the conference brought together leading academic and medical experts from across institutions.
The conference highlights the growing role of artificial intelligence in enhancing healthcare services, the importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding medical data, and the need to integrate sustainability into healthcare systems.
Prof. Dr. Sanaa Abdel-Azim, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Conference Chair, emphasized the university’s commitment to advancing scientific research and strengthening collaboration in digital health.
The event was attended by distinguished figures, including Prof. Dr. Amal Khalil, Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Hanafy, Prof. Dr. Wael Shindy, Prof. Dr. Taha Farag, Dr. Ismail El-Hefnawy, Dr. Kawthar Mahmoud, Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef, Ms. Asmaa Nabil, Prof. Dr. Omar Sokkar, Prof. Dr. Amal Bakr, Dr. Hayat Mohamed Abdel-Qader, Dr. Israa Mostafa Abdel-Aaty, and Dr. Iman Ibrahim.
Sessions were chaired by Prof. Dr. Dina Assaf, with presentations delivered by Dr. Amal Hal.
In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh reaffirmed the university’s dedication to supporting scientific platforms that foster innovation, knowledge exchange, and sustainable development in healthcare.
