As part of Port Said University’s ongoing commitment to supporting student activities and developing skills in emerging fields, the Sports Activities Department— in cooperation with the Student Unions Department under the General Administration for Student Welfare—organized an Esports Refresher Course for university and international students on April 25–26, 2026.
This initiative reflects the university’s dedication to fostering a spirit of positive competition and empowering students to effectively engage with modern technology through purposeful and constructive activities. It also aligns with national efforts to promote digital transformation and enhance youth capabilities.
The event was held under the auspice of Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of the University, and under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Bayoumi, Supervisor of the Student Welfare Sector.
The course was prepared and delivered by the Sports Activities Department, led by Mr. Ayman Samir, Director of the Department, with the participation of sports specialists Mr. Ahmed Raouf, Mr. Islam Taha, and Mr. Mohamed Awad.
This event highlights the university’s role in nurturing talent, encouraging innovation, and supporting students in keeping pace with global technological advancements.
