
Prof. Dr. Sherif Saleh, President of Port Said University, welcomed Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, to discuss enhancing academic cooperation. The meeting was attended by senior university leaders.
Following the meeting, they attended the graduation ceremony for eight classes of the Diploma in Healthcare Accreditation and Quality Assurance Applications (GAHAR), offered by the Faculty of Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Heba Youssef Mohamed and Dean Prof. Dr. Ehab El-Hanafy.
This pioneering diploma, the first of its kind at the Supreme Council of Universities and Ministry of Higher Education level, equips medical and administrative personnel with the latest quality standards through a credit-hour system, distance learning, and practical applications to improve healthcare institutions’ efficiency.
A total of 203 graduates celebrated completing the program, highlighting its impact on their professional development and readiness to support hospital accreditation and the national health insurance system.
The ceremony featured key leaders, including Drs. Mohamed Fahmy, Helmy El-Afny, Osama Hussein, Marwa Halawa, Sally Ansy, and Ismail El-Hefnawy, and honored Drs. Sherif Saleh, Ismail Abdel Ghaffar, Heba Youssef Mohamed, Ehab El-Hanafy, Refaat Sadek, Asmaa Nabil, and Ahmed Mostafa. The event concluded with certificate distribution and a photo commemorating this milestone.
